   V písemných pramenech je Studánka poprvé uvedena roku 1471. Pojmenována prý byla podle Krásného pramene (Schöner Born) pod zdejší školou. Dominantou vsi je zdaleka viditelný pseudorománský kostel sv. Františka z Assisi, jehož stavba začala v roce 1869 a vysvěcený byl tři roky poté. V jihozápadní části vsi je vyhlídkové návrší Valy, na němž byly kdysi patrné zbytky švédského opevnění ze třicetileté války. Přibližně 300 metrů západně od kostela je malý a pěkně udržovaný hřbitov, na kterém stojí pomník obětem 1. světové války (byl znovu odhalen po rekonstrukci v lednu 2014). V rodinné hrobce je tu pochován německý římskokatolický kněz a autor písní s náboženskou tématikou Winfried Pilz, který otextoval a složil řadu skladeb žánru "Neues Geistliches Lied" (nová duchovní hudba). Studánka (a part of Varnsdorf) was first mentioned in written sources in 1471. It was said that it was named after the Beautiful Spring (Schöner Born) under the local school. The dominant feature of the village is the pseudo-Romanesque Church of St. Francis of Assisi, whose construction began in 1869 and was consecrated three years later. In the south-western part of the village there is a lookout hill "Valy", where there were once remnants of the Swedish fortifications from the Thirty Years' War. Approximately 300 meters west of the church there is a small and well-kept cemetery on which a memorial stands to the victims of World War I (revealed after reconstruction in January 2014). A German Roman Catholic priest and the author of songs with religious themes Winfried Pilz is buried in the family tomb here. He has texted and composed a number of compositions of the genre "Neues Geistliches Lied" (new sacred music).
