První zmínka o osídlení pochází z register papežských desátků z roku 1352. Ve 13. století tu stávaly dvě tvrze, jedna pocházela již z doby hradištní (2. pol. 7. století až 1. pol. 13. století) a zanikla v době husitských válek. Obec se nachází v nadmořské výšce 179 metrů. Dnes tu žije přibližně 1200 obyvatel. The first mention of the settlement comes from the register of papal tithes from 1352. In the 13th century there were two fortresses in the village, one dating from the fortified period (2nd half of the 7th century - 1st half of the 13th century) and disappeared during the Hussite wars. The village is located at an altitude of 179 meters. Today about 1200 inhabitants live here.
